Our platform is born as a result of important commercial alliances achieved with the main car rental companies worldwide. Given the volume of rents that we manage, the car rental companies have offered us a discount that we have transferred to our final client. That is why renting a car through Ontrac Rent a Car will provide a lower rate than if you rent directly with the rental company.

Each car hire company has its own age requirements, but most will rent to people between 21-25 and 70.

An additional daily fee may apply for any additional drivers listed on the rental agreement.

The rules about the main driver also apply to any additional drivers. So, if your additional driver is under 30 or over 65, please check your car’s terms and conditions.

The driver and confirmed method of payment shall be finalized at the time of reservation and cannot be changed.

The confirmed method of payment has to be valid and available for presentation at the time of pick up and is subject to the conditions of payment above. All extra costs that occur during the car rental will be charged to this payment method.

Supplemental Liability Insurance

Liability coverage is limited to the minimum financial responsibility required by state law. If purchased, Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) protects the renter against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and/or property damages sustained as a result of an accident while the renter is operating a rental vehicle.

This coverage supplies the renter with third-party liability protection up to a limit of USD 1,000,000 per accident.

SLI does not cover all situations that may arise while operating a rental vehicle. SLI does not cover all risks. There may be exclusions for unauthorized or intoxicated drivers, no first party uninsured motorist coverage, no coverage for certain passengers in the vehicle, and other exclusions.

Loss Damage Waiver

The Loss Damage Waiver reduces the renter’s responsibility to a part of the vehicle in the event of damage or loss of the rental vehicle. If Loss Damage Waiver (incl. Theft Protection) is accepted, the renter is responsible for the following deductibles:
USD 0.00 for any vehicle rented from the car category.

If Loss Damage Waiver (incl. Theft Protection) is not accepted the renter will be held liable for the full value of the vehicle

The insurance covered by some credit cards is the Supplemental Liability Insurance but not the Loss Damage Waiver Insurance, however, the insurance rate that we offer in ONTRAC Rent a Car includes both insurances so we suggest you take them for your complete coverage of the car.
